Never Too Small

The Inheritance House believes that speaking Scriptures over your life brings healing to your life. Healing may happen in your body, your mind, your spirit and/or in any combination of those three. The Healing Minute teachings are created on a foundation of Scripture that can then be applied to everyday life. If you have read our Healing Thoughts Magazine you can think of these teachings as short compact verbal Healing Thoughts.

Each video starts with the Scripture that will be discussed in the teaching. After you have taken a moment to read the verse(s) in the video then we will jump right into the one minute teaching. Please feel free to pause the video at anytime if you need longer to read the Scripture, if one of the questions needs to be pondered, or if you just want to have some one on one time with the Lord. This teaching is for you, so please use it however works best for you!

Technically, the videos go a bit longer than exactly 1 minute because of the intro, outro, and leaving the Scripture up long enough to be read. However, the teaching itself is 1 minute or less.

Pieces of My Puzzle

Pieces of My Puzzle

by Theresa Classe

God is truly amazing. He is putting the pieces of my puzzle (life) back together.

I have been on a deep healing journey for about fifteen years. Through that, I have received a lot of healing from childhood wounds and adult wounds. Some of these wounds were mountains and boulders with cliffs in-between. The cliffs were so deep. I was terrified to see what was there because it involved pain and emotions I had shut off for years …. decades.

But, God began, fifteen years ago, sending Godly mature women to come along side of me. These women began to help me through my healing journey. They were each a piece of my puzzle. My healing was a piece of my puzzle. My learning through this journey was a piece of my puzzle. The puzzle that is now being put in place as I begin to walk more in my calling. It is amazing, exciting and unbelievable.

I am in awe of God and where He has brought me. I never thought this time would come, although I sensed it along the way though. Through this journey, a passion began growing inside of desiring to help others know the freedom I was beginning to have. A passion to give back what God was giving me and a passion to pour out in others just like those women had poured out in me. So much love, patience, kindness, joy, etc.

There were some other pieces to my puzzle. But, the most important piece was Jesus. This was asking Him into my heart, to forgive my sins, and be my Lord and Savior. That was the beginning for me. That was in 2003 and my life has never been the same since.

This healing journey was not easy and at times still not easy. But with healing occuring along the way, it began to be easier to withstand the hard times and/or the times when I struggled.

What I am hoping is that those that read this will be encouraged that no matter what you have been through or are going through now, God can free you. He can use what you have been through to help someone else and give you the desires of your heart.

I have a friend, actually, the first woman God put in my path to help me heal, and she would say, “I can’t help you, but God can. If you don’t quit, you win.” She would say that to me all the time – “If you don’t quit, you win.” It began to annoy me, but it became true in my life and I have seen it come true in so many others.

If you need healing, I encourage you to make an appointment at The Inheritance House for some in-depth prayer and see what the Lord will and can do. If He can do it for me, He can do it for you. This is just not words I am writing on this page, HE CAN HEAL YOU. It is truth. I am living proof of that.

Why I Am In The Healing Ministry

Why I Am In The Healing Ministry

by Pastor Steve Horrell

The heat of that summer evening was intense as the sun made its way St. John’s Episcopal Church in Kissimmee, Florida, where I knew that the door to that old white wooden chapel would be unlocked and the air conditioning would be on. I sat there in silence enjoying cool air and the faint scent of incense which lingered in the room. I felt no burdens, no problems; my prayer was silence. It was then and there when the Lord called me into the ordained ministry. The experience, which lasted several minutes ended with a vision of oh so many people.

He then told me, “Go. Tell my people I love them.”

Upon the end of the last class of my last day in seminary I went to my room, sat down, looked out the window over the rolling landscape toward the south of Rochester, New York and prayed, “what’s next, Lord?” Immediately I experienced a repeat of the call experience – the vision and the words “tell the people I love them.”

I believe that we are all created by God to be loved. We need to be loved in ways in which we ‘feel loved.’ I believe that to pray for someone ‘out loud, hands’ on in their presence is a profound way of loving them. I believe, and it has been my experience, that people feel loved, cared for, when they are prayed for in such a manner.

Why am in in the healing ministry? There are many reasons. I have witnessed numerous miraculous healings of physical problems when praying. It is just plain cool to see the Lord heal, especially heal quickly. Another reason is because when we pray for someone else (hands on, out loud) I experience some of what St. Francis of Assisi wrote in his famous prayer: “It is in giving that we receive.” Sometimes when I pray for someone I get in on and experience the Lord’s love and compassion for them and/or the Lord’s forgiveness for them. And how about this for a reason for prayer? Jesus said, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” These are just a few reasons why I am in the healing ministry.
